About the event

Calling all budding scientists, engineers, and future innovators!

Today is our last day at The March Community Centre for the time being.

We will be open from 10.00am to 3.30pm so families will be able to enjoy free entry to explore our hands-on STEM-based exhibits, join in with our shows or have a go at one of our activities.

Today's Show

11am     All Charged Up

Opposites attract - that's true even at the tiniest level. Find out how this is important in creating that little spark when you touch a metal object, and what that's got to do with lightening.

Today's Activity

2pm      Rainbow Bracelets

What colour is light? Well, sunlight looks ‘white’ or maybe yellowish, but actually it’s made of lots of different colours. We can use this glass block called a prism to split the light into the different colours - just like a rainbow. Find out more and use these visible colours - and beyond - to make a rainbow bracelet

Find us at The March Community Centre from 10.00am -3.30pm

Drop in anytime and one of our Communicators will be on hand to guide you through a journey of hands on exploration. No need to book.

Supported by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority

Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times. Our weekend sessions are aimed at children from 7-11 years.
