It’s Spring! But what does that mean? In this fun show find out why days get longer, why it starts to warm up, and why animals have their young in Spring. Build an egg and discover out why they’re so important. See which animals are the “springy-est” and can jump the furthest – can you jump further than an Elephant? Wait and see!
2.30pm Built for Speed
How do we build machines? What makes them work and what makes them go fast? Why are some machines faster than others and how do we build machines for speed?
Today, we will be looking at how machines work and why some are faster than others. You can build your very own machine out of recycled materials.Opposites attract – that’s true even at the tiniest level. Find out how this is important in creating that little spark when you touch a metal object, and what that’s got to do with lightening.
Make something a little different with our activities today!

An egg is just a shell full of slimy stuff, right? Well, there’s a lot more to it than that. Explore the hidden structures inside the egg as you build a model from the inside out. Find out how the embryo forms, grows and eventually hatches form the shell.
