Throughout this workshop, students will embark on a journey beyond their local area, exploring the vastness of the wider world. Guided by our experienced Science Communicators, they will delve into both natural and man-made characteristics, gaining insights into the intricate tapestry of physical and human geography.

Learning Objectives

Students will:

  • extend their knowledge and understanding beyond the local area to the wider world
  • describe natural and man made characteristics
  • understand key aspects of physical and human geography
  • appreciate the role of satellite monitoring

What to expect:

All of our workshops will start with a short welcome and introduction to the workshop to ensure students are aware of what to expect.

Summary:

We will ask students to share and demonstrate their programme and discuss ways the students went about solving the problem.
