Get ready for a day down on the farm at our next STEMtots session, On the Farm! This free-flow morning is packed with hands-on activities to ignite your toddler’s curiosity about animals, farming, and life in the countryside.
Here’s what’s waiting for little farmers:
- Animal sorting fun: Help sort toy farm animals into their pens. It’s a playful way to learn about classification.
- Muddy pig painting: Get creative and a little messy as we paint adorable pigs with muddy effects. A hands-on art activity inspired by science!
- Plough the fields: Dig, plough, and explore with toy tractors and tools. Perfect for sensory fun and learning about farming life.
- Whose baby?: Match farm animals to their babies in this engaging game, building knowledge of animals and their young.
STEMtots sessions are all about scientific learning through play, helping little ones explore the world around them in creative and sensory-rich ways.
Run in blocks of six sessions during term-time, each session will revolve around a different theme. Sessions can be booked individually or as a block (with a small discount). They are free flow sessions so you can turn up at any time during the session.
Our Science Communicators will be on hand throughout each session to help you and your family explore our exhibits and get the most out of our activities.
Sessions are designed to involve parents/carers so we do ask that you stay with children. Ticket price includes one child and one adult attending each session. Younger siblings are welcome to attend free of charge.
