Join us for STEMtots – fun, playful first-steps into discovering science!
Supporting Early Years Development with Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths
This week our theme will be Building Works
STEMtots is our weekly relaxed, free-flow session for pre-schoolers, designed to encourage curiosity through hands-on fun, helping little learners explore the world around them in a fun and engaging way. Aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, STEMtots supports essential skills for starting school confidently.
Through exciting, interactive activities, little learners will explore the world around them in a fun and engaging way. Each session is packed with opportunities to touch, explore, and experiment – perfect for curious minds and busy little hands!
Develops number recognition, vocabulary, recognising the world around us, working scientifically
STEMtots is run as a free-flow session so children can explore both our themed activities and hands-on, open-ended exhibits as they choose to. You can attend at any time you wish during the session – there is no obligation to arrive at the start-time or remain until the closing time, so come for an hour, a half-hour or longer as suits your family.
- Our sessions are suitable for 2-5 years. Younger babies are welcome to accompany siblings free of charge.
- Parents must remain with their child/children at all times.
STEMtots is run weekly during term time on a Friday morning from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
