This interactive show looks at the engineering behind some Marvellous man-made materials. We explore the super-strong, heat and fire resistant fabrics that protect us, and find out how custard inspired protective clothing!

What’s the difference between a human and a duck ?Forget the feathers, we are both part of our own unique habitat. Discover your own ecological system by exploring the people and places that you call home.
And there’s plenty of exploration time to get hands-on and play with over 20 hands-on exhibits!
Show & Lab Activity Times
- Shows are held at: 11.15 am and 2.15 pm
- Lab activities are held at: 10.15 am, 12.15 pm and 3.15 pm
Our space and activities are most suited for children aged from 4-11 years. Of course, younger siblings are welcome to come along too!
