'STEM in the Fens' in Wisbech

Welcome to our Wisbech PopUpScience Centre.

We will be open from 10:30am to 2:45pm throughout half-term. Families can enjoy free entry to explore our hands-on STEM-based exhibits or have a go at one of our activities. We aim to run each activity at 11am and 1.30pm, but these times are subject to change depending on the number of visitors.

Our theme for this half-term is SPACE

Morning activity: Constellation viewers

Look up into the night sky and you'll see millions of stars. Humans have grouped these stars into patterns called constellations. Make a viewer to help you identify the constellations more easily.

Afternoon activity: Star Cycle

Travel with the stars as we find out about their life cycles. There are many paths a star can take in its lifetime, from nebula to gas giant to supernova. Which path will your star take?

Find us at the old ARGOS shop from 10:30am - 2:45pm 

Drop in anytime and one of our Communicators will be on hand to guide you through a journey of hands on exploration. No need to book.
