Right now, too many young people are missing out on science, not because they lack interest, but because they’ve never had the opportunity to see what’s possible.  For many, particularly in underserved communities, the world of STEM can feel distant or out of reach.

With a one-off gift of £500, you can give a full class (up to 35 pupils) from a local school the chance to visit Cambridge Science Centre.

Your support covers everything:

• Transport to and from the Centre for a morning or afternoon session
• Full access to our interactive STEM exhibits
• A hands-on curriculum-linked workshop led by experienced science communicators
• A memorable, confidence-building experience in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Why is this important?

For many schools, it is not a lack of interest that holds them back – it’s the cost of getting through the door. Rising transport costs are making education visits harder to access, especially for schools in underserved areas.
