Accessible STEM experiences for everyone

Our Centre is designed in a way that ensures that every young mind and their families can seamlessly engage in all our offerings. If you wish to discuss your accessibility requirements with our team, we’re here to help. Feel free to get in touch.

Our Centre

Cambridge Science Centre is all on one floor.  We can be found on the ground floor of the Trinity Centre, in the centre of Cambridge Science Park.

If you’re a visitor with a disability and you need a carer, personal assistant or essential companion to help you with access during your visit, you can bring them free of charge when you buy a ticket. You’ll need to book both your tickets online in advance.  Please contact so we can help you do this.

Accessible parking

We have a number of accessible parking/Blue Badge parking spaces near to the main visitor entrance. The access route to the Centre is flat and paved. If you need any help to get into the Science Centre, please call us on 01223 967965. We’re all here to help.

Assistance animals

Want to bring your assistance animal? That’s great – you’ll both get very warm welcomes at the Science Centre. Just ask at reception if you need water or poo bags and we will be happy to supply them.

All our exhibits are interactive. You can use them will all your senses – touch them, hear them and watch them. The exhibits are set at a height so everyone can reach them. If you need further assistance to enjoy them, please talk to the Science Communicators on duty.

Toilets and changing

There is an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities on the ground floor – the same floor as our Centre. The toilet area on this floor is open daily and is managed by The Trinity Centre team.
