New Tickets, Same Great Experiences!

Our members make extraordinary things happen. They help bring science to life for children who might never have had the chance: Children who’ve never set foot in a science centre, who’ve never been encouraged to explore, to ask questions, or to see themselves as someone who belongs in science.

These moments are happening every day – in our Centre in Cambridge and out across the wider East of England: in places like the Fenland District, where access to hands-on science is often limited. Members help us reach children who are curious, capable and full of potential – but too often are left out of the conversation. That’s the real power of a membership: It’s not just a pass for unlimited visits, it’s got purpose.

Now, we want to make things even more flexible: We’ve introduced a new single visit pass and enhanced our membership offers. These changes were shaped by feedback from our audiences and are designed to ensure we remain accessible, sustainable and able to reach even more communities.

Our new Single Visit Pass gives you access to public opening hours at our Cambridge Centre – that’s two hours of hands-on exhibits, fascinating shows, and curiosity-piquing activities, all guided by our expert Science Communicators.

Your ticket price also includes a 10% voluntary contribution. If you’re a UK taxpayer, this allows us to treat your entire payment as a donation and claim up to £3.40 in Gift Aid from the UK Government – at no extra cost to you. If you’d prefer not to include the voluntary contribution, you have option to opt in or out during booking.

Our memberships are fantastic value. Visit us just three times, and a membership saves you money while still supporting our charitable goals. A membership gets you unlimited visits to the Centre and some new perks: 10% off special clubs (such as STEMtots for curious pre-schoolers), a birthday treat (a free gift when you book a party with us), and 10% off in our shop (full of science-themed treats and take-home fun!).

Single Visit Ticket Membership
Adult £13.50 £35.00
Child (4-17 years) £10.00 £25.00
Child (2-3 years) £5.00 £12.50

For every pound we raise, 83p is reinvested directly into our programmes. We’re a charity — not a profit-making organisation — and we receive no core government funding. That means your support isn’t just appreciated, it’s essential and underpins vital initiatives, including:

  • Free STEM education hubs in the Fenland district
  • Subsidised visits for marginalised groups in Cambridge
  • Inspiring, hands-on science experiences for children and young people who might otherwise miss out

Cambridge Science Centre is more than a place to visit — we’re a charity with a mission: to widen participation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the chance to discover the wonder of science.

With heartfelt thanks,

The Cambridge Science Centre Team
