We’ve pulled together the perfect birthday party package so that you don’t have to.

There’s two hours of fun waiting for your birthday superstar and their friends.

They’ll be wowed as they watch science come to life with our special birthday show, POPBANGBOOM and have plenty of time to explore our hands-on interactive exhibits.

You’ll have exclusive use of our party room for your food and refreshments, or you can use our outside picnic area.

You can book your birthday party on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

How our parties work:

We offer two birthday party slots :

🕦 Lunch Party: 11:30am – 1:30pm

• 11:30am – 12:30pm
  Free exploration of our hands-on exhibits in the Gallery
• 12:30pm – 1:00pm
  Refreshments and food in the Party Room
• 1:00pm – 1:30pm
  Your birthday show in the Show Room
• 1:30pm 
  Depart to enjoy the rest of your special day

🕒 Afternoon Party: 3:00pm – 5:00pm

• 3:00pm – 4:00pm
  Free exploration of our hands-on exhibits in the Gallery
• 4:00pm – 4:30pm
  Refreshments and food in the Party Room
• 4:30pm – 5:00pm
  Your birthday show in the Show Room
• 5:00pm
  Depart to enjoy the rest of your special day

Useful information:

• All bookings must be paid for within 7 days of the planned party date.
• Children age 2 years and under are free.
• Our birthday parties are suitable for children from 6-11 years.
• Children must be supervised by the party adults at all times. Please ensure you have enough adult supervisors for your group.
• You are welcome to bring in your own decorations to decorate the party room up to 30 minutes prior to the start of your booking. Please note we do not allow helium balloons.
• Please bring your own refreshments, plates, cups, birthday cake, candles and appropriate knife.
• Please be aware that you will be joining other members of the public for the first hour of your visit.
• For safety, we require a minimum of 1 adult per 5 children.
  • Parties for 20 children include 6 adults
  • Parties for 30 children include 10 adults
• Additional guests can be added (up to a maximum of 50 people total):
• • Extra children: £10 each
  • Extra adults: £13.75 each
• If, for any reason, you need to cancel your booking, please email events@cambridgesciencecentre.org as soon as possible. Read our FAQ page for information on our cancellation policy.
• Parents can pick up and drop off their children at our reception area.
