Strengthening our core team

At Cambridge Science Centre, we’re always looking for new ways to inspire, educate and engage with our audiences. That’s why we’re delighted to share the news that two fantastic team members will be taking up new roles this month. Both roles will be instrumental in helping us drive our mission forward!

After a highly competitive recruitment process, we are proud to say that Katy Roper is now our new Community Development Officer and Amy Burton starts as our new Product Development Officer.

Both roles attracted an outstanding pool of external candidates, but through their interviews, Katy and Amy demonstrated exceptional understanding, passion, and vision for the work we do.

Meet Katy – Our New Community Development Officer

Katy will be working closely with local schools, community groups, and partners to ensure our science engagement initiatives reach as many people as possible. She will play a key role in expanding our outreach efforts, making science accessible and exciting for everyone. Katy’s enthusiasm and strategic approach will help us grow our community impact.

Meet Amy – Our New Product Development Officer

Amy will be leading the charge in developing innovative exhibits, hands-on activities, and educational workshops that spark curiosity and wonder in our visitors. She will be working to create interactive experiences that bring STEM subjects to life.

We are incredibly excited about the expertise and energy that both Katy and Amy bring to these new roles. Both will be instrumental in helping Cambridge Science Centre continue to deliver high-quality, inspiring science engagement for all.
