Introduce your class to the world of microprocessors and have a go at programming our Micropets using BBC micro:bits.

Learning Objectives of this workshop are:

  • To identify the Arm microprocessor on a micro:bit and understand its role in controlling the device
  • To experiment with programming the micro:bit using different inputs and outputs, such as buttons, LEDs, sound, and sensors
  • To creatively solve given problems using a new programming language (MakeCode)

What to expect:

All of our workshops will start with a short welcome and introduction to the workshop to ensure students are aware of what to expect.
