Designer Dinos

Building Blocks Students will gain:
– A general familiarity with animal life
– General fascination with dinosaurs

Beyond the curriculum Students will have the opportunity to:
– Know that dinosaurs once roamed the earth
– Understand that dinosaurs came in all shapes and sizes
– Appreciate that the evidence we have of their existence only gives us clues as to their appearance.

Observe, identify and classify our prehistoric menagerie! Imagine what dinosaurs might really have looked like and work together to create an ENORMOUS dinosaur of your own.

Students will be working scientifically to:

Identify and name animals, including humans.
Describe and compare animals.
Identify and classify animals
Use their observations and ideas to suggest answers to questions
